FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
The North Dakota Shrine Bowl All-Star Game was created in 1974 with three primary goals. The first goal is to honor high school athletes who have excelled on the football field, but also display the qualities of a young man with high character. The second is to promote awareness and raise funds for Shriners Children’s. There are currently over 350 children throughout North Dakota and western Minnesota who are active patients at our hospitals. Shriners Children’s are committed to providing the best care for children in our specialty areas of Orthopedics, Burn Care, Spinal Cord Injury, and Craniofacial conditions, regardless of a family’s ability to pay. The third is to inform the public about our charitable organization to reach more children that we may be able to help.
The 51st annual North Dakota Shrine Bowl will be played at Jerome Berg Field on the campus of Mayville State University on Saturday, June 21st, with the 11-man game kicking off at 3pm and the 9-man game to follow at 6pm.
All events for the North Dakota Shrine Bowl will be held on the campus of Mayville State University. Camp week commences with player check-in on Tuesday June 17th, followed by Shriners Patient Ambassador Day, scheduled for Thursday June 19th from Noon-3pm, and finally the Awards Banquet and both all-star games on Saturday June 21st. Congratulations to the players selected to participate in the 51st annual North Dakota Shrine Bowl!
Sincerely,
